The Andersons Visit
Our dear family friends Lorie, Curt and Evan stopped by during their SF trip last month. It was great to see them, as always. Calista loves playing with Evan -- he's such a great kid. Right away she went over to her easel to draw them all. Fortunately, we were able to see them again on our recent trip to Ashland (more on that later!).

Old April Photos!
Yes...still catching up here. These photos of little missy are from April and taken on what we call "big camera" -- the Canon EOS20D single relflex lense digital camera that takes absolutely beautiful pictures. Not to be confused with "little camera" -- the small digital Canon that we take practically everywhere else. I love the photos of Calista reading with Eden. Classic!

Knuffle Bunny
Calista just loves Knuffle Bunny, the books. For the longest time she refused to let Scott read her Knuffle Bunny (One), only Knuffle Bunny Too. Finally, she said OK. I thought she was way too cute in her Knuffle Bunny ears from Aunt Kiki.
Mother's Day
We went to Foreign Cinema for brunch (yum!) where you can see Calista sampled her dad's kale, as well as her ice cream sunday. Afterwards, we took the ferry to Sausalito. We thought Calista might like to be on a big boat, and she had never taken a ferry before. Naturally, she wanted to walk all over the place and not sit still. She might not have liked it as much as going to the zoo or playing with Eden's dollhouse, but I hope that these kinds of new experiences are eye-opening and make for fun memories!? In any case, it was a beautiful day so I loved my Mother's Day. :-)

Haas Reunion
The weekend of April 24 was Scott's 5-year Haas reunion. We met some friends on Friday at Mexico DF for dinner before going to Americano, and on Saturday (while I was at work), Scott took Calista to the carousel at GG Park, and then to brunch at Yank Sing for Dim Sum. On Sunday, we went to the big picnic at Tilden Park. Busy!
